FAQ
How often do we meet?

 

We will begin to see each other weekly as this is the best approach to reach your goals faster. However, I will periodically check in with you to assess your progress and see if both of us agree on how you are doing. If we agree that you made significant strides, we can then reduce the amount of sessions to an every-other-week schedule that might make more sense for you and your goals at that time. 

 

How long is every session?

 

Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes long. 

 

Couples therapy sessions run for 50 or 75 minutes.

 

Do sessions have to be on the same day and time every week?

 

The majority of my clients prefer to schedule their sessions on the same day and time each week. This also helps with consistency, reliability, and it’s much easier to remember and plan for.

However, if unique circumstances present through the course of treatment, I am more than willing to accommodate you as long as you inform me in advance. 

 

What happens if I’m late for session?

Everyone has experienced being late to an appointment at least once. Also, Los Angeles traffic does not help us! Therefore, I encourage you to plan accordingly for your session. Since I will always need to end our session on time to respect other clients’ time and appointments, we can use whatever remaining time we have left in our session that day, if you choose to. 

 

What’s your cancellation policy?

 

I ask my clients to provide me with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to needing to cancel a session. You can do this by sending me an email or text message, or by calling me and leaving me a voice message.

 

Sessions that are not cancelled within 24 hours and “no-show” sessions will be billed the full fee with the card you have on file.

 

I will always give you the option to reschedule your missed session in the same week, instead of simply skipping our work that week. However, this might not always be possible.

My office is 1 and a 1/2 blocks west from the Century City Westfield Mall. The nearest major cross street is Beverly Glen Blvd.

Where do I park?

 

You have a few options for parking:

 

  1. There is metered street parking on Santa Monica Blvd.

  2. You can park under the building; the entrance is on Benecia Ave. I can validate parking for you. With parking validation, the cost will be $4.00, which is payable by credit card at the exit.

  3. Some of my clients also choose to park at the mall, about 1 and 1/2 blocks away.

 

*Please note that the residential side streets are all permit-parking only, and are ticketed aggressively*
